About the Event
Hosted by Uganda's celebrated celebrity chef Mark Kahreu, EAMC brings together the finest cuts, open-fire cooking traditions, top East African artists and a vibrant marketplace of vendors, crafts and innovations — all in one unforgettable afternoon.
Since its founding, EAMC has grown into one of Kampala's most loved and most attended recurring events, drawing 3,000+ guests every edition from across Uganda and the East African region.
The Experience
The Carnivore Zone
The heart of the festival. Open-fire grilling of premium East African meats, with a featured country rotating each quarter — celebrating the culinary traditions of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi in turn.
The Main Stage
A-list artists and top DJs from across East Africa perform from afternoon into the evening, building from relaxed early sets to full dance floor energy by nightfall.
The Bazaar
50+ vendors across fashion, crafts, food, technology and lifestyle. A buzzing marketplace that is as much a destination as the main event.
The Kids Zone
